I was first inspired to write children’s books to preserve the memories of my grandchildren. It started with wanting to cheerfully document our annual family pumpkin hunt that my children, grandchildren and I took great joy in every Halloween. After that, I began to see cherished memories in the simplest of experiences and wrote stories to preserve those as well. Having published two books and written two others, I knew I needed a name to symbolize this journey.

I am a follower of TODAY with Hoda & Jenna and have always admired the family values that Jenna shares with her parents and grandparents. Her grandfather preserved memories through his letters of family and my hope is to do the same through my books. During one particular segment of the show, Jenna was describing a book as being a joyful read. That resonated with me. It perfectly captured what it meant for me to write these books, and my intentions as an author. I realized this would be the perfect name for my new company.
